Three Mile Point

Although I'm at work right now, waiting for some photos to print, I had the morning off. Adrienne and I have been dying for some beach time, so today we went to the gym, grabbed lunch in town, and then headed to Three Mile Point where there's a beach of sorts. As much beach as you can have when you have a lake. :) It was absolutely lovely. I think it's officially our new favorite place. Tomorrow is my day off, so we were going to go back, but I just found out I have to work for a few hours in the morning. *pouts* Here are some pics. Bests to everyone!

There were a lot of kids by the sandy areas, but we found a quiet spot in a more isolated place.

She said my hair looked pretty in the light and took a photo, but the rainbow was unplanned.

We bought some sparkling wine to bring, but we didn't have a bottle opener so, against my wishes, Adrienne decided to chomp down and try to open it. We couldn't get the top off, but about one glass-full trickled down into our plastic cups, which I surreptiously snatched from the place where we ate lunch. In the end we borrowed an opener from someone, but I applaud her effort. Some teeth that woman has.

Getting a sun tan . . .maybe?

All in all it was a lovely, sun imbued, water splashing day. I will say it again: I am going to miss this place.

hurray for beautiful scantilly clad ladies!!!

the festival was awesome, but equally irritating. if you get pass the long drive on the most unpaved paved road in history, hot and humid weather, the sweaty stinky people, long lines for food and beverages the festival was amazing. It was like going to 5 shows in one sitting... but now i am momentarily deaf in my left ear. i hope you were able to get the show video i emailed you.

(sigh)...again, hugely depressed that i missed you in a hot little number like that bikini, one more reason why this has been the longest and lammest summer (read: non-jen summer) evar!!!

love, love
