Day 1, sort of

My first day of work! I went into the office at 9 for orientation and then met up with Don, the PR manager, who is adorable. Got lunch in Cooperstown with him and a few other interns along with Britney, the marketing manager. Back at work I met a bunch of people, got my camera ( a Nikon D70, OK, but not as great as I had hoped! Though it's even amazing they are providing me with a camera to begin with) and meandered around the office. I'm going to an ice cream social tonight at the Costume Shop. George Mott, the photographer will be here this coming Monday. Apparently I am going to be VERY busy once he arrives. We only get about a day off, sometimes not even that, so I hear I will be much more ocuppied than I had thought.

Here are some photos from the day. More soon!

Here's the lovely operahouse

And this is Spruce Haven, the house where I live. See the set of two windows upstairs on the right? That's my room.

This is Highway 80, where the opera is located. Took these when I was walking back from work a while ago.

These are some really sweet interns I work with in the office. I've already forgotten their names!

And this is my relaxing on my bed with my new pillow I picked up at the Cooperstown General Store. Haha. What a place, that store is. They have everything. It's like a regional dollar general.
