Little Town, It's a Quiet Village: Cooperstown!

I'm here . . .

Here I am, all cozied up in bed, writing to you from my room, which appears to be conveiently located in the middle of nowhere. This is because I am not actually in town at the moment, but at my residence, charmingly deemed "Spruce Haven," which is about a fifteen minute drive from Cooperstown to the North and Richfield Springs to the West. Basically, Spruce Haven and Glimmerglass are sort of hoovering along the side of the highway in no man's land. My room is large and quaint and came equipped with a dilapidated dresser, a rustic end table, vintage crystal lamp, and a seemingly demon posessed fan, which apparently only operates in short 15 second bursts of air. The house is completely silent except for the sporadic intervals of the fan. I think I will name it Mephistopheles. Perfect. I also bought a precious plant at the grocery store a bit ago. John, one of my roommates and I, made a quick run to the "Price Chopper" grocery to buy some last minute items. Nothing says home like a house plant. That's my motto.

I will write more about my day later, but I am so tired! For now, here are some pictures from yesterday.

My 6:15 flight turned into a 10:30 flight yesterday, so Mom and I went to The Wild Fork for breakfast.

I arrived in Buffalo and my grandparents picked me up and took me grocery shopping at the most amazing store ever --- Wegman's. I was truly in love.

Then we went to eat at Olive Garden where I ordered my first, well first legit, glass of wine. Yay for finally being 21!

Gram and Papa have been fabulous and so far things are going well. More tomorrow and scenic pictures. Promise, I just need to get some sleep. I love everyone.
